UPCOMING EVENTS AT HALI COUNTY YOUTH HUB

There are lots of great events happening for youth in Hali County in the coming weeks. Check out the attached posters for details. Please help us spread the word about these opportunities and get lots of Hali County Youth involved in these awesome events.

Feb 28 @ 4 PM – “Have a Voice! Help Others Have a Voice!”
This FREE event is open to all Hali County Youth ages 12-25. Snacks are proved and transportation is available for those who need it. This will be a fun, safe, interactive workshop that helps everyone be heard. Join Cecile Doo-Kingue, award winning blues musician and advocate for LGBTQ rights as she uses music and rhythm to help us understand how to be heard and how to hear one another. Not a musician? Not a problem! No musical experience is necessary to join in. Cecile will be using the dynamics of music to help us understand listening, joining in, inviting others, and seeing the “big picture” of groups and they way they communicate. Cecile is one of Canada’s most electrifying guitar players, blending blues, afro-roots and soul. Email [email protected] with any questions or to reserve transportation.
