THE HALIBURTON LEGION BURSARY FOR TRADE APPRENTICESHIP The bursary will be presented to the most deserving graduate who is pursuing an apprenticeship in a recognized trade, registered with the Ontario Government.

THE MODERN ELECTRIC BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a graduating student who is pursuing post-secondary education in a computer-related field.

THE HALIBURTON COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a graduating student who is continuing his or her studies in a Business or Technical program.

THE O.S.S.T.F. BOB HERLIHEY BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a deserving student who is continuing his or her education in an apprenticeable trade.

THE ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ FEDERATION BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a graduating student continuing his or her education at a college, university or in a apprenticeable trade.

THE HEAT LINE TRADESPERSON BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a graduate pursuing a career in the trades: electrical, plumbing, construction, HVAC, etc.

THE BOB HERLIHEY MEMORIAL BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a deserving graduate who is pursuing post-secondary education.  First preference will be given to the student who has taken a program of technical courses.

THE RUSSELL ANDRUS MEMORIAL BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a deserving graduate who is entering a Technical program at a community college.

THE HHSS FOREST MANAGEMENT BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a deserving graduate pursuing post-secondary education in Forest Management.  For the purposes of this award, “forest management” means forest management for the production of wood and wood products.  It does not include landscape architecture, fish and wildlife management, ecology, geography, environmental studies or forest management for other purposes.  Students intending to pursue a career in tree marking and silviculture, logging or sawmilling will also be considered eligible.
