With the recent facility upgrades taking place at Queen Victoria Public School (QVPS), June 21 was the day that concrete was being poured for the flooring of the school’s new bathrooms.
The school’s Kindergarten teacher, Andrea Hart, took this as an opportunity to educate her students about construction and careers in the skilled trades. Students learned about how buildings are made and renovated.
The new bathrooms will be located in the basement and be open to students for the 2024-2025 school year.
