Bursaries Based on Character and Contributions

 

THE FERGUSON MILLAR ARTS BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a deserving graduate who has made a significant contribution to arts in the school, preferably music.

THE BILL AND SANDRA VALENTINE MEMORIAL BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a graduating student who is studying music in the school and/or through private lessons, and who has made a significant contribution to the extracurricular music program in the school.

THE CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE OF ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA (HALIBURTON) BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a young woman who is pursuing post-secondary education and who has shown exemplary volunteer work in her community.

THE J. DOUGLAS HODGSON HISTORY BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a graduating student who has demonstrated a passion for History throughout their high school career in Canadian and World History.

THE CANOE.FM – JOAN CAMERON BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a student in Year 4 in either the drama or music program who has exhibited a high level of artistic development and demonstrated that in the school and in the community.

THE MINDEN LEGION BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a deserving graduating student who is pursuing post-secondary studies and who has made a positive contribution to the life of the school through leadership and participation in school activities.

THE CFUW HALIBURTON HIGHLANDS BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a deserving female graduating student who has financial need and is directly pursuing post-secondary education. She will have demonstrated academic excellence and contributed significantly to the life of the school.

THE ROBERT (BOB) SISSON MEMORIAL BURSARY The bursary will be presented to a graduating student who is proceeding to further education at a post-secondary institution. First preference shall be given to a student who has made a significant contribution to the school in the arts, drama, and music fields
