Dear Parents and Students of Wilberforce Elementary, J.D. Hodgson Elementary, Archie Stouffer Elementary and Haliburton Highlands Secondary Schools:
We want you to be made aware of an opportunity to have your youth aged 12-17 receive their Covid vaccinations locally. As you are aware vaccination has proven to be an effective measure in the control of Covid-19. The toll of school closures is huge and so the safe reopening of schools is key to improvements in both the mental, physical and academic well being of your youth. We will be holding a vaccination clinic at the Haliburton Family Medical Center on June 23, 2021 from 3 to 7 pm. We hope the later hours help accommodate transportation challenges. We do require registration and appointment booking in order to have an accurate quantity of vaccine delivered.
Please call 705-457-1212 and select option 5 or 6 by Monday June 21st to secure an appointment for your youth. These appointments are available to any student aged 12-17 attending the schools in our County. Our vaccine supply will be Pfizer and limited to 150 doses.
