Haliburton Highlands Secondary School is looking to support Take Back the Night Haliburton. The gathering will happen on Thursday, September 19 at the Head Lake Bandshell. This annual event is an important way to address sexual violence in the Haliburton region and to speak out against current issues, such as harassment, inclusion and safety in our community.
Supporters can gather at 6 pm to make signs, 7 pm for the rally, and 7:30 pm to participate in a candlelight walk through the centre of town.
